Greig Craft, President and Founder of AIP Foundation, attended Vietnam’s annual off-road car racing tournament this month, where he spoke of AIP Foundation’s preparations to launch the Automobile Association Vietnam (AA Vietnam) in 2018. The AA Vietnam will offer various motor services to its members and seeks measures that ensure greater road safety within the country. The program assists with obtaining international driving permits and provides roadside assistance, such as car towing and repair, through its partnerships with leading car dealers and manufacturers. The Association will also provide various benefits for members, including discounted rates for insurance and travel packages for both Vietnamese and global members. The AA Vietnam is an affiliate of the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), which represents the motoring interests of more than 245 member associations in over 140 countries with 80 million members.

This year’s ‘Vietnam Off-Road Cup 2017’ was held 50 km west of Hanoi, with 78 racing teams driving modified pickup trucks and SUVs during the two-day tournament.
