Unfortunately, vulnerable groups – including low-income communities, children, women, the elderly, and people living with disabilities – have not had a seat at the decision-making table, yet are disproportionately impacted:

• Road traffic injuries are the leading cause of death for children and young adults aged 5-29.
• More than half of all deaths occur among vulnerable road users. Motorcyclists are the largest group of people being killed on the world’s roads.
