AIP Foundation is supporting the Korki Thom Commune Road Safety Committee as part of the Third UN Global Road Safety Week by organizing a commune-based outreach activity. Today, more than 100 community members gathered together and received messages on the motorcycle passenger helmet law, importance of helmet wearing, road crash situation in the commune and Cambodia, the commune’s plan to increase passenger helmet wearing, and AIP Foundation’s support. Community members also had the opportunity to raise questions and concerns with guest speakers. Furthermore, Commune Road Safety Committee members, together with the community members, will visit public places and households in the commune to spread information about the motorcycle passenger helmet law and the importance of helmet wearing.
