AIP Foundation held a Safety Delivered orientation workshop in Ho Chi Minh City to engage local authorities, government stakeholders, and school representatives, and to promote key leaders’ understanding of Safety Delivered‘s road safety education and public awareness campaigns.

The meeting aimed to bring together representatives from the Traffic Safety Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Department of Education of Ho Chi Minh City, Traffic Police and Bureau of Education of Go Vap District, Can Gio District and Can Gio Ward, along with representatives from 7 project schools, to discuss program activity plans, with all stakeholders and school representatives coming to agreement on the proposed program activities. As a result of the workshop, local authorities also unanimously agreed upon the need to protect students by providing them with high-quality helmets and education programs due to the high risk of motorbike and road crashes on Vietnam’s roads.
