From May to September 2018, AIP Foundation Thailand joined forces with the Australian Road Research Board (ARRB) and Rotary International to implement a school-based road safety program, Safe School, Safe Community, at Wat Rachasingkorn School in Bangkok.

Aimed at increasing helmet use among children and raising public awareness of the importance of child quality helmet use, Safe School, Safe Community ultimately sought to reduce injuries and fatalities from road crashes. After the five-month project came to an end, the helmet use rate among students at Wat Rachasingkorn School increased from 1% to 33% — 4 times higher than the national average.
