AIP Foundation ends its 16th year with exciting progress towards making roads safe. This year, we saw a major shift in the global prioritization of road safety. The United Nations (UN) included two key targets for reducing road deaths and injuries in its post-2015 Sustainable Development Goals.

AIP Foundation made strides towards improving road safety, but as road crashes remain a leading cause of death, with 1.25 million lives lost on the world’s roads each year, there is still a lot of work to be done.
