The gathered stakeholders prepare the celebratory Street Wise event, which is expected to involve over 2,000 students, parents, and teachers.
AIP Foundation and sponsor Chevron Thailand hosted a meeting early this month with stakeholders involved in the two-year Street Wise project in Songkhla Province. The meeting took place at Wichienchom School, where a community event (see link below) is planned for the end of the month to commemorate the midway point of the project and the donation of 1,000 helmets to students of the school.
The participants were gathered to discuss the concept idea and advance preparations and included stakeholders from the six schools of the Street Wise project, the Songkhla Provincial Administrative Organization, the Songkhla Transportation Office, the Provincial Health Office in Songkhla, the Office of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation of Songkhla, the Songkhla Public Relations Department, the Songkhla Primary Educational Service Area Office, the Songkhla Department of Rural Roads, and the Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya.
