We joined FM 99.5 Traffic Radio for Society to discuss this year’s final evaluation results for our Street Wise program, which is supported by Chevron Thailand. Key findings of the evaluation showed that between 2015 and 2017 the helmet-wearing rate among children increased from 3% to 55% in the 10 target schools in the Singhanakorn and Muang Districts of Songkhla Province. Thailand has the second-highest road crash fatality rate in the world, and Street Wise provides school-based education and awareness tools to help make the country’s roads safe.
