SONGKHLA Province, Thailand – August 16-25, 2024

As the Chevron Street Wise program continues making an impact in Thailand, the program team is excited to attend the most famous event in Songkhla: Pakk Taii Design Week 2024. Our team will be present at a special Chevron Street Wise booth during this week promoting not only the program but also the 30km/h and helmet-wearing campaigns. The famous event gathered over 100,000 visitors last year in 2023.

The Chevron Street Wise booth will feature an opportunity for visitors to learn more about 30km/h speed limits through role play, educational games and souvenirs from Chevron as well as short films about the Chevron Street Wise program. In addition, the Road Safety Ambassadors from the program (hailing from local schools) will present and engage youth on the importance of safe mobility.

More about the Chevron Street Wise program

AIP Foundation has been working to promote safe, equitable, and sustainable mobility in Songkhla and Nakhon Si Thammarat provinces, Thailand, for 10 years with the Chevron Street Wise program. We are proud to work together with Chevron Thailand to reduce the number of road injuries and fatalities by 50% by 2030, as set out by the Second Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2030.

This year, the program will focus on aligning with the provincial government’s policy measures for schools, including helmet-wearing for all students, safe driving behavior, road safety education, and utilizing media to increase community awareness of road safety.
