Fifty-seven stakeholders gathered in Dong Nai Province to discuss and reflect on the progress made through the Helmets for Kids program over the previous school year. Representatives from the local Department of Education and Training, primary schools, and others joined AIP Foundation and the local media during the meeting. As part of the school-based helmet safety education and awareness program, select schools received subsidized helmets, hosted extracurricular activities, and implemented an educational curriculum.
AIP Foundation implemented other Helmets for Kids activities during the 2016-2017 school year in Gia Lai and Quang Nam provinces. Over the past five years, Johnson & Johnson has supported the program in Vietnam and has donated more than 45,000 helmets to vulnerable road users.
