We are proud to announce the launch of the Youth Action website, a new digital platform designed to empower young people across Vietnam to engage, connect, and take action on the issues shaping their cities and communities. The launch of the youth website is supported by YOURS – Youth for Road Safety, the International Road Assessment Program, Fondation Botnar, Google.org, and the FIA Foundation.
Young people are directly affected by urban challenges and play a critical role in shaping the future of their communities. The Youth Action website was created in response to the need for accessible information, safe and inclusive spaces to express ideas, and meaningful opportunities for collaboration. By placing youth at the center, the platform ensures that young voices are not only heard but actively supported and empowered to drive collective action toward safer, more inclusive, and more livable cities.
Through the platform, youth can access up-to-date information on opportunities, initiatives, and resources related to urban safety and sustainability. This includes, but is not limited to, road safety, while also addressing broader issues such as inclusive urban design, community well-being, and sustainable development. The website provides a space for young people to share perspectives, propose youth-led solutions, and learn from the experiences of their peers.
The Youth Action website also serves as a hub for connection. Young people can engage with peers, organizations, and initiatives from across Vietnam, helping to strengthen networks and foster collaboration. By encouraging dialogue and collective problem-solving, the platform supports youth to move from ideas to action and to contribute meaningfully to positive change in their communities.
By amplifying youth voices and supporting youth leadership, the Youth Action website represents an important step toward more inclusive participation in urban development. We look forward to seeing how young people across Vietnam use this platform to connect, collaborate, and shape safer and more livable cities for all.
“The Youth Action website makes it easier for young people to stay informed and feel confident sharing their ideas. It’s a space where youth voices matter, and where they can connect with others who want to make our cities safer and more inclusive” shared Trang Truong, Senior Program Manager at AIP Foundation.
