
Over sixty delegates, speakers and FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile) executives will convene in Hanoi, Vietnam, for two days to reconnect. In addition to the region’s plenary, guest speakers will explore:TheRegional Travel, Designing safer streets, Clean Air and Climate Actionfrom the FIA Foundation. The International Road Assessment Programme (iRAP) will explore Safer roads: Partnership for Impact. Michael Bradley, Australian Automobile Association Managing Director and Trinh Thu Ha, Deputy Chief of Vietnam’s National Traffic Safety Committee, will share about strategies to engage youth.
After a tour of the social enterprise Protec Helmet Factory where the production of new ECE 22 UN-standard quality helmets is taking place, the FIA will lead clubs through a strategic session on future planning for the region. On Friday afternoon, there will be a panel on Sustainable mobility and regional collaboration hosted by Asuka Ito, FIA Sustainable Mobility Manager.
In order to achieve the ambitious target set out by the WHO to reduce road injuries and fatalities by 50% by 2030, we must work together. This FIA Region II Roundtable event is a unique opportunity to bring together participants from all over the region to raise their voices for a greener approach to mobility.
