AIP Foundation was honored to host an award ceremony thanking FedEx for their 10 year contribution to enhancing road safety in Vietnam.
Since 2009, FedEx and AIP Foundation as a Safe Kids Vietnam affiliate, have partnered together to deliver effective and sustainable road safety interventions through the Walk this Way (WTW) program. The program was launched to increase awareness of child pedestrian safety and improve road user behaviors in Vietnam. The WTW program has proudly reached 268,859 students from 315 primary and secondary schools across the country imparting road safety knowledge and skills. With the help of the Walk this Way program, students have also received donations of life-saving helmets, reflective jackets and caps, pedestrian safety pencil cases and pedestrian safety books.
On behalf of the Ho Chi Minh City’s Traffic Safety Committee, AIP Foundation CEO, Mrs. Mirjam Sidik acknowledged FedEx for their instrumental contribution with a Certificate of Recognition.
