AIP Foundation joined the Global Alliance of NGOs for Road Safety toolkit for the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims (WDoR) 2018, which will be held on 18 November, 2018. This year’s theme is “Roads have stories to tell.” In support of WDoR, the Global Alliance of NGOs for Road Safety and World have created social media banners based on stories from NGOs around the world that promote key messages connected to the Global Road Safety Performance Targets. AIP Foundation provided two case studies relating to helmet use in Vietnam. Join us and organizations around the world to commemorate this important day and bring attention to the 1.25 million people who die annually due to road crashes and to commemorate the stories of victims and their families.
You can help achieve this goal and raise awareness of the WDoR by registering for the Alliance’s toolkit and webinar; posting on social media with the hashtag #WDoR2018 and tagging @roadsafetyngos and @aipfoundation; and downloading the signboard, taking a photo, and uploading it to social media.
