HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam – March 6, 2026

AIP Foundation joined Ford Vietnam and partners to celebrate the launch of the AutoTech Scholarship Program, an initiative designed to support students pursuing careers in automotive engineering and help strengthen Vietnam’s future technical workforce.

The program was introduced as part of the launch of the Ford Training Center in Southern Vietnam, supported through the Ford Philanthropy Fund. Implemented in collaboration with Sao Do University and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, the initiative aims to expand opportunities for students studying automotive engineering while preparing them for careers in the rapidly evolving automotive industry. The program is coordinated by AIP Foundation.

Representing AIP Foundation at the launch event was Mirjam Sidik, Chief Executive Officer, whose presence highlighted the organization’s ongoing partnership with Ford in implementing community-focused and CSR initiatives in Vietnam.

“The AutoTech Scholarship Program represents an important investment in Vietnam’s future workforce,” said Mirjam Sidik. “At AIP Foundation, we believe that empowering young people through education and skills development is essential to building safer and more sustainable mobility systems. By supporting talented students, particularly young women, this initiative helps ensure the next generation of automotive professionals have the knowledge, opportunities, and responsibility needed to shape a safer future for Vietnam’s roads.”

The scholarship program focuses on supporting students with strong academic performance in automotive engineering, encouraging greater participation of female students in technical fields, and expanding opportunities for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Through internship opportunities within Ford’s dealership network, participating students will gain hands-on experience, learn about industry operations and service standards, and develop the practical skills needed to transition successfully into the workforce.

Together with the new Ford Training Center, the AutoTech Scholarship Program reflects a shared commitment by Ford Vietnam, Ford Philanthropy, and AIP Foundation to invest in education, strengthen technical capacity, and help build a skilled and responsible next generation of automotive professionals in Vietnam.
