Attendees of the workshop on the last day

AIP Foundation’s Vietnam program staff joined attendees from the National Traffic Safety Committee and several other international NGOs at a three-day workshop supported by the Global Road Safety Partnership (GRSP), with financial assistance from Fondation Botnar in order to build capacity to implement safety projects in Vietnam. The training topics included international good practice principles for child road safety education, existing national traffic safety education at primary and secondary education levels in Vietnam, advantages of e-learning traffic safety education, practical road safety measures for vulnerable road users and the proper way to conduct a road safety assessment/audit. AIP Foundation shared experiences creating an e-learning curriculum for safe school zones across Vietnam and will use the skills learned in this training to deliver our upcoming Slow Zone Safe Zone Project.
