AIP Foundation presents at Childhood Injury Prevention Convention 2021

AIP Foundation joined top safety experts and partners at Safe Kids Worldwide Childhood Injury Prevention Convention where the international road safety charity presented on safety interventions to protect pedestrians, cyclists, and teen drivers in China through their Walk Wise program.

Led by Mr. Jimmy Tang, Development and Strategic Partnerships Manager of AIP Foundation, the presentation highlighted how multifaceted interventions improved community road safety through an in-depth case study in China. Through the Walk Wise program, nearly 160,000 students were equipped to be safer road users through educational activities and road modifications.

U.S. Secretary of Transportation, Mr. Pete Buttigieg, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, Former Commissioner of Detroit, Dr. Ibram X. Kendi, Director of the Center for Antiracist Research at Boston University, Dr. Sadiqa Kendi, Division Chief of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Boston Medical Center and Boston University School of Medicine, Ms. Vanya C. Jones, PhD, Associate Professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and Dr. Magda Peck, Founder, and Principal of MP3 Health, were also featured speakers at the conference.
