AIP Foundation donated 114 million VND, over $5,000 USD, in emergency relief to communities in the Son La Province of northern Vietnam that were severely damaged by recent floods and landslides. This includes nearly 200 houses that washed away or collapsed and 177 partially damaged houses. Rice crops, school buildings, road infrastructure, and irrigation systems also received significant damage. Son La Province was the hardest hit by the storm, but Yen Bái, Dien Bien, and Lai Chau Provinces also received significant destruction. The total damage is estimated at 538 billion VND, approximately $23.7 million USD.

The aid was donated through the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO), which coordinates with local provincial agencies to implement the emergency relief. Our contribution, along with other generous donations, will be used to help recover the livelihood of 200 affected households in the Muong La District of Son La Province.
