AIP Foundation attends 26th Meeting of the UN Road Safety Collaboration

The 26th meeting of the United Nations Road Safety Collaboration (UNRSC) was held at the WHO Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Ratanawadee H. Winther, Chairperson of AIP Foundation Thailand, represented AIP Foundation at the two-day meeting. About 80 members of the UNRSC representing governments, international organizations, NGOs, and other groups convened to help coordinate and spearhead global road safety efforts.

At the meeting, updates on several key issues and current work were provided. Additionally, attendees discussed upcoming efforts including the UN Road Safety Trust Fund, the 3rd high-level Global Conference on Road Safety 2020 in Sweden, the 5th UN Global Road Safety Week to be launched in May 2019, and the road safety targets including monitoring and evaluation of the Decade of Action.
