HANOI, Vietnam – August 11, 2022
At AIP Foundation, we are proud to share that – beyond road safety – our inclusive and targeted programs pave the way to sustainable changes related to 11 out of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In order to achieve a better and more sustainable world by 2030 as envisioned by the SDGs, we must work together as a community.
On the occasion of the upcoming annual United Nations World Humanitarian Day and the Mid-Autumn Festival in Vietnam, AIP Foundation and the Protec company are organizing a special event at the social work center of Vinh Phuc Province, Vietnam. As global citizens, we believe in the power of giving back to our community.
During the event, quality helmets were provided for vulnerable children who are at risk daily when traveling on dangerous roads. The caregivers of the children at the social work center also receive helmets. In addition, a scholarship for 21 students were distributed, safeguarding their access to education. Celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival in Vietnam, students, caregivers and older adults at the center received 136 full moon cakes, honoring one of the most treasured holidays in the country.
AIP Foundation Founder and President, Greig Craft shared, “we cannot measure our humanity, but we can act on it. Our humanity is that glowing center in the heart of all of us. It is what makes us speak up about injustice, even when injustice does not personally affect us. It is what makes us aware that we are better off if our fellow human beings are better off”.
We are delighted to announce the special participation of the following distinguished organizations:
