Parents receive instructions for wearing helmets correctly at a training workshop at Wat Chong Nonsi School.

Our staff worked with an expert on road safety legislation from the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation to provide road safety training for 36 parents at Wat Chong Nonsi School in Bangkok, as part of our Helmets for Kids program. The training focused on helping parents understand the importance of road safety and learn how to wear helmets correctly. In the previous month, 83 students and teachers received road safety training as well.

Helmets for Kids provides school children and teachers with quality helmets and road safety education through funding support from numerous individuals, private sectors, and organizations. The five-month program, which is being implemented between November 2017 and March 2018, is supported by GrabTaxi Co. Ltd.
